This is a draft. Text in square brackets is a placeholder that has not been filled in yet.

About these terms

Safar is provided by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [MAILING ADDRESS]. You can contact Safar at haanie@safarroute.com.

These terms govern your business's use of Safar. In these terms, “Safar” means the software and its provider. “Business” means the wholesale distribution business using Safar.

Safar's website is safarroute.com. The product is available at app.safarroute.com.

What Safar does

Safar is route sales and invoicing software for wholesale distributors. It helps businesses:

  • Plan sales and delivery routes.
  • Create invoices from a phone, including when there is no signal.
  • Send invoices and estimates by PDF and email.
  • Record payments and amounts owed.
  • Track inventory across warehouses and vans.
  • Review team reporting.

Accounts and staff

Safar sets up each business account in person. There is no public sign-up.

The business owner may add staff to the account. The business is responsible for its staff's use of Safar and for everything staff do through the account. The business must keep all sign-in details safe and limit access to authorized staff.

Fees and billing

Fees and billing terms are agreed in writing between Safar and each business. The agreed terms are: [FEES AND BILLING TERMS].

Safar does not take online payments through the site.

Invoices, payments and business records

Safar does not process payments between a distributor and its customers. Safar only records payments that the business says it has received.

The business is responsible for the accuracy of its invoices, estimates, prices, taxes, payment records and other information. The business is also responsible for meeting its own tax, accounting and legal obligations.

Safar is software. It does not provide accounting, tax or legal advice.

Business and customer data

The business owns the data it enters into Safar. The business gives Safar permission to host, copy and process that data as needed to provide the service.

The business is responsible for having the right to enter and use its customers' names, contact details and other information.

Safar handles personal information as described in its privacy policy at safarroute.com/privacy.

Offline use and syncing

Work saved without a signal is stored on the user's device. It uploads to Safar when the connection returns.

Users should allow the app to finish syncing before signing out, clearing the browser or removing the app. Work that has not synced may be lost.

Acceptable use

The business and its staff must not:

  • Use Safar for unlawful purposes.
  • Try to access another business's account or data.
  • Reverse engineer Safar.
  • Disrupt, damage or interfere with the service.
  • Resell Safar without written permission from Safar.

Third-party services

Maps and directions are provided through Google Maps and are subject to Google's terms.

Safar also uses third-party providers for email delivery and hosting. Those services are outside Safar's direct control.

Availability and changes to the service

Safar works to keep the service available, but does not promise that it will always be uninterrupted or error free.

Safar may change or remove features. Safar will give reasonable notice before changes that materially reduce the service.

Ending the agreement

Either Safar or the business may end this agreement by giving [NOTICE PERIOD] notice.

After the agreement ends, the business may export its data for [NUMBER] days. Customers, invoices, payments and inventory are available as CSV exports.

After that period, Safar will delete the business's data, except for information that Safar is required by law to keep.

Disclaimers and limits on liability

To the extent allowed by law, Safar is provided “as is.” Safar does not make promises beyond those stated in these terms or otherwise agreed in writing.

To the extent allowed by law, Safar's total liability is limited to the fees the business paid during the [NUMBER] months before the claim.

To the extent allowed by law, Safar is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. These limits apply only where the law allows them.

Changes to these terms

Safar may update these terms by posting the updated version on this page with a new effective date. Safar will tell business owners by email about significant changes.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [STATE]. Any legal case must be brought in [COUNTY, STATE], unless applicable law requires otherwise.
