Safar

Route sales and invoicing for wholesale distributors.

Safar puts your routes, invoices, payments and van stock in one place. Your reps work from their phones. You see the whole business from the office.

An example day on a route: load the van at the warehouse, invoice three stores, take a payment, and close the day back at the warehouse.

If you run routes on paper, you know these three.

Paper invoices

Written by hand at the store, typed up again at night. One smudged line and the total is wrong.

The spreadsheet

What each store owes lives in a file one person understands. When a customer calls, nobody else can answer.

The vans

Stock leaves the warehouse in the morning. What is still on each van by the afternoon is a guess.

One day on a route, start to finish.

An example day. Each step is something Safar does today.

  1. 6:40 amThe office

Plan the routes and assign reps

Pick the stops for each rep, put them in driving order on a map, and the day is on their phone before they start the van.

  2. 7:15 amThe warehouse

    Load the vans

Move stock from the warehouse to each van. Safar keeps a count for the warehouse and for every van, so you know what left the building.

  3. 9:20 amAt the store

Invoice on the phone, with or without signal

The rep builds the invoice at the counter. In a back room with no signal it is saved on the phone and uploads by itself when the signal returns.

  4. 9:25 amStill at the store

    Send it before leaving

Invoices and estimates go out as a PDF by email, under your business name.

  5. 2:10 pmOn the route

Take the payment and see what is owed

Record cash or a check against the invoice. Every store’s balance and every overdue invoice is there when you need it.

  6. 5:30 pmBack at the office

    See how the day went

Sales by rep, stops visited and accounts that are slipping, without waiting for anyone to turn in paperwork.

Built with a distributor in Denver.

Safar was built with a wholesale distributor in Denver, on their routes and in their warehouse. It is the system they run their business on.

Safar means journey in Urdu.

Every route is one. Out in the morning with a full van, back in the evening with the invoices sent and the payments counted.

See it with your own routes.

We set up every business in person. Tell us a little about yours and we will show you Safar with your stops, your products and your customers.
